"Have a Ball Foundation crowned Champion of the 2008 inaugural 'Livestrong Challenge' of San Jose and is Back-To-Back Champions out west".

The Have a Ball Foundation donated $75,000.00 to the Lance Armstrong Foundation this year and was awarded Champion of the 2008 "Livestrong Challenge" for San Jose.
The inaugural San Jose Livestrong Challenge had over 3,000 participants and raised over 1.5 million dollars for cancer.
"It was good for our Foundation to win this event this year, as it was in our own backyard and we have been raising funds for the Lance Armstrong Foundation since 1999" Have a Ball Founder Bob Hammer said in a statement.
The Have a Ball Foundation is once again in the "Top 10" of fundraisers for the Lance Armstrong Foundation, currently 2nd. Quite an accomplishment considering over 11,000 people raised funds this year, and the Have a Ball Foundation only donated a little over half of its funds to the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
